Together Every Day - Seniors' Creative Project is the first community art project in a hospital in the Sham Shui Po district, and this exhibition showcases the creative results of the participants.

 

This project is hosted by Art in the Hospital and invites the elderly from four day centers and residential homes in Sham Shui Po district to create art under the guidance of instructors. Starting from "everyday life", the four artists selected four themes and different art media to allow the elderly to reinterpret the familiar things around them. Through carefully designed art activities, we create an open environment that gives seniors the opportunity to create at their own pace and ability. The creative process can stimulate the five senses of the elderly and encourage them to use their senses, coordination and concentration. When faced with art, "I don't understand it" is the first thing many participating elders say to us. However, after a lot of investment, "Remember to come again" became the words the elders used to say goodbye to us. We hope that visitors can also feel the joy of the elderly freely expressing themselves through the exhibition.
